We have a dearth of quality spinners at the moment to support Stuart MacGill. If he was to get injured this summer who would we call up to replace him?
Dan Cullen is one option but for whatever reason I don't see why so many seem to be talking him up.
Do we actually have another viable option other than Cullen?
If Stuart MacGill gets injured then red wine makers around the country will celebrate their new found fortunes?
Grade cricket umpires will sigh with relief?
Quick bowlers will groan with dismay at being unable to pad their figures with one cheap wicket per innings.
Ummm.

Massive gulf between Killer MacGill and the remainder riff raff.
And his presence is necessary to maintain the right state balance for those into selection conspiracies.

Righto, then what is Gilly?

Why do you ask?
(Joking of course - Gilly is a 'roach and always will be.)

Good joke.
I've always hated that traitor Border. Of all the teams, he chose to play for the cane toads.

A traitor is a traitor, even if he played with Len Pascoe at Bankstown.

Stuart MacGill is a pie chucker, he bowls two good balls an over and at least one four ball per over. He gets slapped around silly in domestic cricket, nothing better than watching Darren Lehmann face MacGill, he shows him the respect he deserves, absolutely none.
Now back to the topic at hand, I would think Callum Bailey from SA would be next in line after MacGill. Aaron Heal also goes ok and with another solid season will be around the mark. Dan Cullen has had a couple of ordinary years ( due to an inflated ego) and needs a big year to gets his name back up there.

Yes I think Bailey would be the one I would look at.

I'm expecting a big season from both the SA lads. I think they both have the potential to become an Australian quality spinners.

How spin friendly is the Adelaide pitch these days?

Cullen is more suited to the 50 over game. Bowls very flat with alot of changes in pace but not alot of variety. These days off spin is cannon fodder if you cant take the ball the other way and until he develops a ball that can go away from the right hander I dont see him playing test cricket.
