I know a lot of people rate Ben Hilfenhaus but can anyone put togther an argument why Hilfenhaus is selected as Tait's replacement when Noffke has been in such red hot form even before his 8 for today?

Did Hilfenhaus tour with Australia A recently?

Not sure but he was in India sitting on his backside whilst Noffke was getting bags of wickets and making a few runs. He's been in sensational form.

Niffke has just be in sensational form and he must come under the radar soon.

I think the selectors generally do it a bit like the AA selectors in footy. There is a pecking order and short term form wont always ensure you jump to the head of the line.

I think you have called it ight. It is very hard to argue against the Australian selectors because we keep winning. In other words the current formula is working

This probably should be dumped. If Symonds is out of the next test would Noffke be a chance to replace him with Gilchrist moving to number 6?

Noffke made 60 out of 137 in Queenslands 2nd innings and I think he made 37 in the first. This guy is in sensational form with the ball and bat but it probably won't get him a test game.

Noffe took 4 wickets again yesterday and is in career best form. From all reports Watson bowled OK and took a couple.

Watson will get injured again in about a month if he keeps bowling. Poor Bloke.
