Is it just me, or do they seem to be getting more dead/flat?

The WACA seeems to have lost its zip, the SCG isn't really a spinners paradise anymore etc

Thoughts?

I think they are flatter because in the main we want to see 5 days test.
Giventhe strength of some of the other nations ant the attacking style we play it is probably for the best.

I would love to see pitches that are more challenging for the bastmen. Melbourne is IMO one of the better pitches now through default. The other pitches are now so flat and lifeless that Melbournes drop in wickets provide something a bit different and batsmen can sometimes struggle to get used to a different type of pitch. Brisbane is good when they get the balance right because it gives something for quicks and spinners but is also a good batting wicket. Perth is garbage at the moment and so is Sydney. Adelaide is a road and only Warne and the attacking nature of Australia made a result possible at that ground last season.
