Hows the form of Katich at the moment. He made 140 of 250 yesterday which is sensational.
The Vics did well to almost bowl out the Blues for 25o but it was a smart declaration that put the Bushrangers in for a couple of overs at the end and getting Quiney was a bonus. Should be some good cricket today and hopefully Hodge and Hussey can perform with the bat.

No wonder the Vics don't produce test cricketers.
Hussey, Hodge, Denton, Harwood, Jewell, McGain and Nannes are all over 30.
It begs the question if we should be trying to play the likes of McKay, Hastings and Finch

Bloody slow going. Currently 8/234 with just 19 runs to get.

We have messed up a great opportunity to build a decent score.
Bracken 4 for 38 off 23

Been busy last few days and haven't followed this - who is the NSW spinner(s)?

Next 2 days should be interesting in a tight game, with the Vics obviously batting last.

I think this is going to be a struggle for us. NSW might have lost 1st innings points but they still have a good chance to get back into the game. Casson is their only spinner though

I was having the same thoughts myself. Denton is in excellent form but Harwood hasn't fully recovered and the likes of Jewell have never produced the good on a regular basis. It might be time to make a few hard decisions. You would have to question the worth of bringing in a 35 year old spinner. I like the bowling of Nannes tho.

Nicholsen out last ball of the day.

NSW 6/281
Thornley 48

Greg Mail got 125 **shakes head**

Vics are still a chance. Clean the tail up quick and Hodge and Hussey have to get the bulk of the runs.

NSW 7/323 dec.

Vic's require 320 off 90 overs. Should be an interesting day's cricket. A win for either side will kick them clear on top of the table.

Can see the rain affecting this one.

Shame that the time was lost. I'm not sure that we would have won but it could have been an exciting day.
