Craig IMO - things don't seem happy over in Adelaide and you'd expect them to have a worse season than '07.

Our old friend Terry could be in strife too. Also query how the Saints coach will be viewed if they miss the semis again.

Surely if Richmond have a tough first half of the year Terry would be in the gun.
Adelaide will be fairly ordinary I reckon so I think you're right about Craig.

I think Ross Lyon will have a bit of latitude. He seems to be changing their style quite a bit
and I think it'll take a bit of time. Turning them into the Swans mkII?

Reckon Roos will hand off to Longmire at the end of '08 regardless, but he won't get sacked.

Most of the others should be ok, either new, entrenched or signed long term contracts (Laidley). I can't think of anyone else but I am a bit busy ignoring that elephant in the room

Although he wont get sacked in 08, I'm predicting a short career at the Dockers for Mark Harvey. A side which is crying out for midfield speed and skill , drafts Mark Johnson and Kepler Bradley. Now the midfield reads Haselby, Carr, McManus, Bell, Solomon and Johnson. Plus a host of semi quick mid fielders with poor skill- Peake, Schammer etc. He might be able to motivate them for a few early wins, but the slide will come

Rodney Eade wouldnt want a poor year either

Don't forget our own coach seems to be under a bit of pressure to keep going in the right direction

I think Craig is pretty safe. The Crows wouldn't want a complete failure, but their squad is finally being turned over drastically, and they will have to be patient. Craig did a good job rejuvenating a list that was stale and 'finished' under Ayers, he's got a few credits in the bank.

I think Wallace is relatively safe as long as they improve on last year reasonably well. If they are struggling badly at mid-season, he'll be under a lot of pressure.

Eade would almost be the next in line I guess if we're being realistic. Documented problem with higher management, failure last season. Really needs a strong year, although I think he will see out his contract at least, which finishes end of 2009 IIRC.

It might be Eade.

Carlton sacked Jesaulenko a few weeks after he won the premiership, so it could happen.

Wallace will be under the pump if Richmond are piss poor again. If Carlton came out and lost the first 1/2 dozen Pratt might pull the pluf on Ratten after loosing the last 7 last year too. I agree though that Craig won't see out the year, loosing Welsh, Hudson, Riccuito and Mattner will hurt and it sounds like he is loosing the players.

No he will be ok, they will offer him another 5 year contract so he can continue on with his 15 year plan. :D

Ok...seriously, Craig, Wallace and our Eade would be front runners. If I had to pick the first of that trio to go it would be Craig. Quite a lot of unrest with him as coach with a few of his players.

One can only hope.

I predict it will be a steady year for all 16 coaches. After the major changes last season it should settle for a while.

Agree with jerry about Mark Harvey though. Odd recruiting strategy at the end of the season, but do be honest I couldn't care less about Fremantle. Everything about that footballl club is irritating. If they won the flag before our next one I would be really, really pissed off.
