I understand that it was held last night at the Spotty RSL.

I was unable to make it due to a prior commitment. Did anyone attend & if so, can they let us know what went on.

I got there late but I can add what I know.

Aker stole the show. He's a true showman who works an audience beautifully.

Scott Welsh can't put two sentences together and Ben Hudson is pretty reserved as well.

It sort of went like this.

Kevin Hillier (to Welsh): How are you settling into Melbourne?
Welsh: Good.

Silence

Aker: My wife and I are trying for another baby. Lot's of extra training sessions. I should be super fit by March (10 minutes of laughs about ovulation day - should it be a public holiday and should you give presents?).

KH (to Welsh): What are your goals for next season?
SW: I want to play good.

Silence.

Aker: I read a book that said if a woman orgasms first you have more chance of concieving a boy. I bet a woman wrote that (10 minutes of laughs about orgasms and parents explaining about them to kids on the way home).

KH (to Welsh): Are you married?
SW: No. My girlfriend and me have a little boy.

Silence.

Aker: I'm getting my pilot's licence (10 minute story about the dangers to other pilots).

And on it went.
