Well after some big upsets and poor draws by some of the big teams the 4th round draw has come out.
Arsenal Vs Stoke/Newcastle
Coventry Vs Walsall/Millwall
Oldham Vs Huddersfield
Swindon/Barnet Vs Fulham/Bristol Rovers
Wigan Vs Chelsea
Luton/Liverpool Vs Swansea/Havant
Southend Vs Barnsley
Southampton Vs Norwich/Bury
Man U Vs Tottenham/Reading
Porstmouth Vs Plymouth
Derby/Sheff Wed Vs Preston North End
Watford Vs Wolverhampton
Peterborough Vs Charlton/WBA
Sheffield United Vs West Ham/Man City
Mansfeild Vs Middlesbrough
Tranmere/Hereford Vs Cardiff
Some cracking games in there, however no real small vs big teams besides the Liverpool game (assuming they get through) which is a shame.

Any truth to the rumor that I heard about Liverpool intentionally drawing the game against Luton so that they would get another game and more gate receipts so that the club wouldn't fold?
It was an own goal by Liverpool that tied things up wasn't it?

IIRC there was an uproar from the smaller clubs when the proposal to play extra time after a draw came up. While it's highly improbable its not impossible.

C'mon the Owls. :)
Geez, like Leeds, for a 'big' club, they've really struggled over the last few years. Actually when I think about it, most of the clubs in Yorkshire have gone downhill & are no longer playing in the Premier League (Leeds, Sheff Wed, Sheff Utd, Barnsley & Bradford).

You don't have to tell me, TCD. It's a heartache and a half. Many, many similarities between following the Owls and the Dogs, except that the Dogs look half a chance next year to do something decent (a legacy of the AFL's equalisation policies), while poor old Wednesday (still the biggest home crowds by far in the Championship) will struggle to make the Premiership (and to stay in if they do make it) and never break into the so-called 'Big Four'. There is less and less to really cheer about in soccer if you follow anyone bar the big money clubs.
C'mon the Victory, then. (And the Socceroos!)

Amazingly all 16 ties produced a winner at the first time of asking. So no 4th round replays.
Interestingly, only 6 Premiership sides remain, tho that includes all of the 'big 4' who progressed.
Results:
Arsenal 3-0 Newcastle
Barnet 0-1 Bristol Rovers
Coventry 2-1 Millwall
Derby 1-4 Preston
Hereford 1-2 Cardiff
Liverpool 5-2 Havant and Waterlooville
Manchester Utd 3-1 Tottenham
Mansfield 0-2 Middlesbrough
Oldham 0-1 Huddersfield
Peterborough 0-3 West Brom
Portsmouth 2-1 Plymouth
Sheffield Utd 2-1 Manchester City
Southampton 2-0 Bury
Southend 0-1 Barnsley
Watford 1-4 Wolverhampton
Wigan 1-2 Chelsea
The draw for the 5th round will take place on Monday. Hopefully they'll be some cracking ties.
The 16 remaining clubs are as follows:
Premiership
Arsenal
Chelsea
Liverpool
Manchester Utd
Middlesbrough
Portsmouth
Championship
Barnsley
Cardiff
Coventry
Preston
Sheffield Utd
Southampton
West Brom
Wolverhampton
League 1
Bristol Rovers
Huddersfield

Good draw from a Wolves perspective even if it is away.
Which should make them monty's to blow it.
Love that Man U play Arsenal. One of them will be gone.
Chelsea and Liverpool'd be happy on 2 fronts.

One of the big 4 will be gone. I don't mind Barnsley for an upset there. Pressure will really be on Liverpool by the time this tie comes around, especially with Europe kicking in again.

While I could express my disappointment at wolves losing 2-0 to Cardiff, I'd have to say it wasn't unexpected. Pretty much par for the course for Wolves.
What I do have to say is
BARNSLEY 2 LIVERPOOL 1
Ouch

Both should be banned from FA Cup finals after last years horror of a match.
Seriously one of the worst games of sport I've ever seen. Maybe Barnsley will keep playing the giant killer.
On another note though, you've been awfully quiet around here lately...:D

If they get beaten in this round of the Champion's League then we might be adding Rafa to the sacked coaches list pretty soon. Tough draw too.

Probably $2.
No one else has a chance.
That would be a good result for Liverpool as it adds an extra UEFA cup spot.

No, but they didn't really deserve it. Inter defended ever so well for so long with only 10 men (very harsh sending off), I was sure it was going to end up 0-0 until those 2 late goals.

As far as 0-0 draws go you won't see better than Arsenal vs AC Milan.
Arsenal were electric in the the first 15 minutes of the 2nd half. Only some poor final touches stopped them from scoring. Really deserved one or two goals and just never stopped attacking for 90 minutes. Adebayor's miss in the last 10 seconds was a killer and he finished poorly quite a few times.
As far as teams that are great to watch Arsenal are right up there at the moment, Fabregas alone is worth it. Going to be tough for them to come back from the San Siro with a win though.

An own goal to the keeper. Channel 10 made out like it was Kalac like howler but he was really unlucky.
Ball hit the post and came back out behind him and he then knocked it in. He had to try as a Middlesbro player waiting would have swooped on it.
