Anyone watch it? Incredibly error riddled game for a GF. Pretty boring viewing until the final minutes.
Newcastle won 1 nil with a goal from Bridge in his last game prior to moving to Sydney after an error from Tony Vidmar in his last ever game.
Their games as usally spiteful as Central Coast and Newcastle a local derby. This game was no different.

In the final minute of extra time CCM won a corner which was eventually cleared. The CCM keeper was then sent off for dissent. What became evident from a replay was our 'best' ref missed an obviously hand ball and penalty against Newcastle.

I honestly thought Newcastle deserved it anyway. CCM couldn't string 2 passes together and were too slow to make changes.

Looks like I was wrong here. He might have hit the ref?

He needs to go and play in Spain or Portugal, you can manhandle the ref all you want over there.

:)
The stupid thing is this years Johnny Warren Medal winner (Brownlow equivalent) and leading goal scorer Joel Griffiths, back handed a linesman in the cods. Not sure why but he got off. Excuse the double meaning :)

Vukovic aggressively 'high 5ed' the ref in the arm, then ran off.

It's cause Griffith (don't know why) only got a yellow card so it was seen as dealt with on field.

It was incompetence by the offical Breeze at the time.
They have reviewed incidents in the past (eg Fred on Milligan last season), they should have doen it here.
Vukovic getting what he deserves but Griffiths should have been the precedent.
