I can't believe how little publicity this guy has got.

Sunday night, playing for Warnies Rajasthan Royals, this bloke finished with figures of 4-0-14-6.

6/14 off 4 overs.

The Chennai Super Kings were bowled out for 109 and the Royals won by 8 wickets.

As Bruce would say, 'That's special'.

Pretty amazing figures in that form of the game.

Is he the little leggie with the simple action? Saw him do Ganguly through the air with a beautifully flighted ball the other night. Eneded up sitting up half an hour longer than I meant to because I wanted to see him bowl again.

Great figures but it is in a smash and bash game, you will get extroadinary bowling and batting figures because the batsman has no option but to slog unless batting in the second dig and chasing a mediocre score.
The grounds are smaller too so the batsman has a false perception he can get it over the fence everytime if he hits it.
Be interesting to see if they were good balls, or batsmans swing or miss situation, eg did he bowl in second dig when the batsman had to go for it ?
Didnt see it obviously but can anyone fill me in on situation of game when he bowled?

He's a left arm medium fast who bowls off the wrong foot like Max Walker or Mike Proctor.

Chennai batted first and were bowled out in 19 overs.

Of his 6 wickets, 3 were bowled, 2 were LB and one was caught by Warne. It's fair to assume Warne wouldn't have been fielding on the boundary. His last two wickets were Murali and Ntini but the first 4 were all top order bats.

Tanvir did not take a wicket in his first 10 T20 games.

A lot of people have this misconception. Max actually delivered the ball in the conventional way ie right foot on or about the bowling crease and left foot on or about the popping crease.

It was the step before the delivery stride that was out of kilter.
