Watched the Rugby League test last night. As usual the Kiwi's performed the Haka pre game.

What do you think of the Haka?

Personally I love watching it, particularly the passion exhibited by the Maori's when they make their eyes pop out & poke out their tongue.

I did a team building class at James Hardie and we were taught the Haka, absolutely brilliant.
There are different ones depending on where you come from, Tonga have one also.
Its better than a national anthem as its just full on and it is driven by you personally and brings pride into you, which is what a national anthem should do.
Sorry people but our (The Aussie one) Anthem really sucks.
I saw Adam Hills do ours to working class man, although it was meant as a bit of a joke it was brilliant and he sang it as a national anthem should be sung , with oomph and spirit.

I absolutely love the Haka.

I love the look on Kees Meuwes' face when the All Blacks finish the Haka.

Try standing in the middle of that without being just a little bit edgy.

I love the passion and intensity they put into it.

Moreseo the Allblacks than the league squad. In League it seems a bit spiritless.

Was in Scotland a couple of years ago and our tour guide taught us his version:
