Did anyone else see this game?

Fantastic effort by both teams, Warners 97 off about 57 was an absolute highlight. I just checked Warners height on Cricinfo and he is listed at just 1.70cm so it was real power hitting by him.

Hilfenhaus went for plenty (7.4 runs per over) as did Bird for NSW.

Warner should count himself nearly as unlucky as Chris Grant.

He would have made the fastest 100 in a ODD, and was given out on 97 with three balls to spare to an LBW decision that wouldn't have hit a second set of stumps.

For a young guy looking to impress, back-to-back centuries with a strike rate of about 180 would have been it. No doubt selectors would have noticed, but i felt gutted for him (despite the fact his a new south welshman).

Watch this space with Warner. Amazing couple of innings.

I didn't see most of the game, but caught the last 20 minutes or so, including Hilfenhaus's last over where he went for 12, one of the boundaries was an outside edge where he couldn't have done anything about, but why not bowl yorkers? The hardest ball to get away! Quality bowlers at that level should hit the spot most times.

This Warner kid sounds exciting.

I was watching the game, but had to stop around the same time Warner went out...how did NSW not win?!

Yorkers are great, but get it wrong and a full toss disappears over square leg and a half-volley over mid-wicket.

If you are good enough, you can hit the spot most times.
