He has been in scintillating form and I wonder if he would come into Ashes calculations?

I suppose the question is do we rate the runs scored on the batting friendly Adelaide pitches?

His innings last night was very good.

Been a fantastic pick up for us. On weight of performances he'd have to come into calculations at some stage.

Len Pascoe?

Just because he had a big nose?

Wasn't Pascoe from what was the old Yugoslavia? Yugo, Croatian, Bosnian, one of those.

That was it

I was going to say Hans Ebeling but that might be politically incorrect

Apparently Klinger is one of the names being thrown around with Hayden's loss of form. A nice century yesterday wouldn't have done his chances any harm either.

Wouldn't be too upset with this.

My only concern is that he tends to bat #3 for the SACAs. That, and I think Phillip Hughes is better choice. But I wouldn't mind seeing Klinger in the baggy green.

I would.

Klinger has hit a purple patch over the past 2 months, but over the journey his 1st class career has been pretty poor.

Rogers who seems to makea 1000 runs every year and Hughes should be and probably would be well above Klinger on the pecking order.

Correct.

Might have also been under 19 captain, and like they said about Katich in the early days, set to be an Australian captain. Too much pressure i'd say.

But he needs to do this for a few seasons before getting a baggy green. Surely.
