1. Start well. Slow starts have had us playing catch up footy far too often this season.

2. Convert our scoring opportunities. Flash back to last years preliminary final.

3. Break even or win the midfield battles. That is Geelong's area of strength as I believe their backline is suspect and their forwards other than matchwinners in Chapman and Stevie J are hit or miss.

4. Support Cooney in his battle against the ranga tagger Ling. If we can create some space for Coons to work his magic Ling will struggle to contain him. Our boys need to be laying blocks and legally smash Ling whenever they get the chance.

5. Support Boydy/Pickers in their possible tagging jobs on Ablett/Bartel/Selwood.
Once again, support from teammates is required to nullify their playmakers.

22 blokes working well together should get us over the line and sew up the double chance.

Hope the umpires are neutral this time, round nine was a disgrace.

Feel free to add others.

We must kick a big score, ie well over 100 points.

...have big games from our struggling and younger players. Eagle, Hahn, Welsh, Hill, Reid, Wood, Addison, Ward, Picken. You can win with injuries if the players that come in are not a liability, Geelong move the ball so well they will expose any weakness if any of our guys are down

Bumped.
OK different game, same opposition, unfortunately same result. The hardest part about losing last weekend is that if we capitalize on all opportunities against this mob we are more than good enough to beat them. Let's hope if we get another crack at them we don't make the same mistakes
