Who do Geelong fear more ??

Looking at the teams last night on the Footy Show, I saw Geelong were 'resting' a number of players with 'general soreness' and I wondered if this was because they had a finals plan.

If you pardon the pun, the Pies have had the wood over Geelong in recent years ... they seem to match up better than most teams against the Cats.

Whereas in recent years we have been close, but are yet to secure the points.


So come the first final, who would Geelong prefer to play ... Us or the Pies

AKA are Geelong tanking tonight to shape the finals to their advantage

I have been told privately that Geelong do not like playing us, as we do match up on them quiet well. Collingwood also give them a hard tome and fancy their chances, so I would say that Geelong doesn't like playing either team.

If they tank tonight, great, I will take that.

Anyway I think you are being very generous saying they are being rested. Johnson looks like he is gone for the season IMO, unless you count what he did the past 2 weeks playing.

They showed some vision on FoxSports - On the Couch, of S Johnson before the game last week and he was not moving very well at all.
