I recieved a wonderful text from TwoDogs today telling me how we beat Geelong - the message I wanted to get!

Then he sent me another one telling me to stay here!

For last weeks game I was in Belgium, this week I'm in Austria.

In '92 I was in London.
'97 in Italy - came home for the finals
'98 in Canada - came home for the finals.

Perhaps he's right, maybe I shouldn't come home.

What are mates for, if not very not subtle reminders? :)

How on earth did you manage to escape the swear filter!!!! :p

I was halfway between knocking down walls & keeping my customers windows nice & clean.

Friday night games suck for small business owners, wel this one anyway. :o

soft option :)

My mate was close to calling in a sick day to try and see the game last night. When the final siren went he wished he did.

Gee SS, not that I'm supersticious (spelling?) but it's still cold here, they are predicting snow and hail, the roads are all closed, the garbage men are on strike, they've changed all the speed limits to 50km on the open road, ........can anyone else help me out here???:D

I do believe the borders are closing due to an outbreak of bulldog flu appaerntly it causes you to chase hard and tackle and only one team have not been innoculated

This reminds me of a story from Allan Border's autobiography on an Ashes Tour.

The top order had collapsed, and Border had jumped into the shower shortly after getting out.

Whilst in there the two batsmen in had gone on a hitting spree.

When he walked into the dressing room, Terry Alderman told him 'never change a winning situation' and manhandled him back into the shower.

He spent about half an hour in there till he could 'prune up' no more.
