2009 Attendance Figures - What a year for the Dogs

I can't remember a better year than this for attending some massive games at Eithad. Whoever thinks we made a mistake by agreeing to play there (forget the dollars for a second) have got rocks in their head. Just have a look at the crowds, we would never ever have had at Whitten oval or Princes Park. Overall we are sitting 7th overall for total attendance to the end of round 21.

The West Coast and Freo attendances were very disappointing, considering the Freo game was Johnno's games record match.


If you take Essendon games at Eithad and take out Freo (they didn't play West Coast), then their average is 44,061, and if you take the Saints, their average is 38,685.

The Club has now been advised that all seating tickets for this Sunday’s clash against Collingwood at Etihad Stadium are SOLD OUT. Standing room ONLY remains.

18 game members still have access to this match, however, entry in subject to availability, so members are advised to get there early to avoid disappointment.

Gates open at 2.30pm.

Show your true colours for the Bulldogs this weekend and be there, but be there early.
