Former AFL Chief Ross Oakley Takes the Reins
VRU President, Tim North announced today that the VRU Board had accepted the resignation of Jason Cornell, who held the position of CEO.
Ross Oakley offered to step down from the Board and assume the role of Acting CEO and the Board accepted.
Ross is former CEO of the AFL. During his ten year leadership the AFL was involved in possibly more change and development than any other organisation throughout Australia, taking the competition from a state to truly national competition.
Tony Barnes, Finance Director, will continue his responsibilities in the area of financial management and accounting functions for the VRU.
