Takes a certain sort of person doesn't it. Great article and thanks so much for scanning that one. The point about Etihad is a good one. the club has definitely lost a bit of ground with the home game arrangement.

Thanks for taking the trouvle to scan and post that TCD. I read it yesteday's paper and tried to find it online.

That sort of thing is what a footy club is all about.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Is Nola the lady that took her dogs to the footy in a shopping jeep?

Yes, sorry I see that now in the article.

She used to live near my cousin in Kingsville street and we saw her every week with the dogs making her way to the game.

I have wondered what happened to the lady with the dogs. Haven't seen anything about her for a while now. Seems she's been very well looked after by Simon and his family.

Beaser spoke about this on Open Mike tonight, great story.

Better story..... Mid 1980's, Collingwood players go to Beaser to put their $10,000 footy trip fund on themselves to beat Carlton. Carlton beat them and Beaser makes a mint.

    Talk about win-win.
