Re: ASADA issues show-cause notices to Essendon players
Top five moment of Australian TV. That, three things Graham Kennedy did and Bert Newton nearly getting a slap from Mohammed Ali.
A punch on and projectiles on a show designed for old age pensioners to watch. Fantastic!
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Wow...I almost sympathize with Hird after reading that crap from Rebecca Wilson.
Almost.

Re: ASADA issues show-cause notices to Essendon players
The thing I don't get is the issues around Hird claiming not to have received the Doc's letter stating his concerns about being bypassed by Dank. Hird claims he and the Doc had a father son type relationship so why would Reid only converse by written correspondence? Didn't they talk to each other?

Maybe Doc Reid knew Jimmy like only a father could and as a result made sure he wrote down anything that could be denied later on.

It was all the players fault - so says Hird. (This really takes the cake. FMD)
Former Essendon coach James Hird says the banned 34 players made a "mistake" in keeping the injecting program a secret from anti-doping testers, and insists there was no directive from the club to do so.

Fair effort kicking 34 blokes at the same time while they are down.

Rebecca Wilson trying very hard to blame the whole of Melbourne for the Essendon saga. Nice try.
