2015 Membership Thread - Can we get 35,000

Another 10,000 odd needed to reach over 35,000 members.

I think we added about 1,000 since our NAB Cup win over the 'Pies.

I believe we had 24,100 odd members at the commencement of the split opening round last year. This year, we have just shy of 26,000 members in the week leading up to Round 1.

Although not spectacular, I still think there's some progress there. With perhaps a bit of an untapped market there with Footscray VFL memberships (which I'm told they're counting) to come on stream in the next fortnight, there is a fair bit of hope that we'll trump last year.

The fact that the club is progressing through some lean onfield years bodes pretty all for us.

Phillip made the generous contribution of $10,000 towards the campaign, which will go towards providing students of a local school in the Club's heartland with amembership for 2015.

Yep. Whether or not we win too many this year, I think its fair to say we are going to provide a much more entertaining contest for fans to enjoy and our supporters should hopefully realise that we are on the verge of a rebirth, but we need all lapsed members to get on board

Hawks just cracked 70,000

3 premierships since 2008 and one hand on a 4th. You'd hope they have record numbers with that sort of sustained success.

Yes, hopefully we can win this weekend and then put in a good show against some very strong teams the next few weeks.

The good media along with strong, exciting team performance should see us climb up to the 30,000 mark.

So true. I was shocked when talking to a good friend the other day, a Hawks supporter. He goes to every game in Melbourne etc. he said if the Hawks go to development phase he won't be buying a membership or going to games. He said they have plenty of money and don't need it. He only buys Gold membership To get access to the GF.
