The Continuing Adventures of Captain Bob

Nice article on Bob. Not a lot we don't already know, but always nice to have things reaffirmed:

Re: The Continuing Adventures of Captain Bob

Given the times we've had of late, I think Murph is exactly the man we need to gel our team. He is a uniter of people, an empathiser who will relate, in his own quirky way, to both young and old. Through his unabashed positivity and absolute love of the Bulldog guernsey he will make an impression that will resonate with the team right when we need it most.
Most of all we will miss him when he's gone.

He's an endangered species in this modern game; a man for whom the childish, simple joys of football are still important. The smell of linament in the sheds, the human connections forged on the field, and strengthened in the rooms after a game; these are things he understands and cherishes and i think he will love the challenge of helping his teammates learn the beauty in these simplicities, and in doing so bring the talented but raw kids we have together. Bob will set a great foundation that will resonate long after his time has come.
