    Re: What a GREAT banner

    Time for some laughs

    Rejected banners by banner man Dan

    * We won our way here
    our prospects are great
    You lost your way here
    Cause you cant kick straight

    * Go Buldogs
    This baner is mispeled cos
    Your ex-president
    Closed our schools

    * We've got debts
    You've got assets
    But we'll put the Hawks
    out in straight sets

    * Tonight the Hawks
    get stuffed and mounted
    If only that one
    after the siren had counted

    * Your dreams will be forgotten
    Your fans will be forlorn
    Tonight you'll come to realise
    There's no such thing as "fourthorn"

    There's no aspect to this week I'm not looking forward to. This is Danny's biggest job yet, and I'm looking forward to a cracker up there. Last week's banner was perfect, I wonder if he sticks with the theme or goes at GWS?

    Needs Cyclops references, cement head references, needs plastic references. Leave nothing on the cutting room floor.

    And thanks for taking Sam Reid. That third round compo (I just checked) was Tory Dickson.

    Obviously our run through this week should be made out of stitched together AFL plastics dollars.

    What to put on it?

    I was thinking what could I love in a banner. So I hope it's a big picture of EJ & Charlie looking down from the heavens with their halos, and the captions 'Remember men, shop early' 'and stick it right up them'.

    Is it this?

    I would buy that on a t-shirt.
    What should I tell her? She's going to ask.
