Re: Well Ruck Me.
Yeah I think TC offers more than Will around the ground and more than Roughie in the middle.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Roughy had no impact at all around the ground last night... He just gets whacked around in aerial contests far too often... Having bung shoulders doesn't help in this regard.

Re: Well Ruck Me.
According to the current bun we are interested in gold coast ruckman Tom Nicholls. He is 24 and only played 34 games.
More of an In Bruges guy?

The search for a ruckman continues despite the form of Roughead and Campbell. Nicholls has some strings to his bow and could be a good option.

What's his market value?

Re: Well Ruck Me.
With Minno on the way out, we need another ready made ruck given the injury history of Rough and TC.

He is currently their number 1 ruck and played five games this year. I think he was one of their 17 year old selections.

In terms of dollars or trade value?
I have no idea in terms of how much a contract would need to be but our selling point would be around finals potential over the next few years. If players can't see that do we really need them?
GC would want a player and a good draft pick I would suspect.

Can we retrospectively package Jarrad Grant in it?

Re: Well Ruck Me.
Camhead taken down another big name ruck combo, this time with scoreboard impact. I love a good ruck on a cold Sunday arvo while watching the dogs win.

Re: Well Ruck Me.
What I love about Camhead is it's practically indestructible. West Coast managed to short one of the circuits for a while today but while they were celebrating another section of Camhead ran forward and kicked a goal.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

If Roughead just could kick straight the entire footy media would be all over this combo. But he isn't resting in defence. His hands in the middle area of the ground from kick out towards forward and long kicks down the line are good too. Maybe he could be a second ruck, tall utility, high half forward like a better Leigh Brown?

Re: Well Ruck Me.
Roughy took 4 contested marks today, more than anyone on the ground. Contested marks are gold.

That's why I posted above. Playing ruck and something like a high half forward that can float down for kick out's and be the long down the line target might have some merit because his hands are good. He takes up space down forward and is worse kicking for goal than Jarrad Grant. Rucking and the above role might good enough. Crameri can stay more forward his his game fitness gets up.
Camhead has been bluntly stopping fancied ruck combos, but today it wasn't just ruck tagging, it was an offensive win with contested marks and goals. Hope it's a trend.
