Actually it's when they re-sign a contract extension that GWS players minds seem to turn to home.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

He misses out on a few premierships.

It's a bit sad really. A plastic career in the shadows.

I don't blame Callan in the same way I do Griff, it was a piece of business we fluffed more than anything. Macrae and Stringer soothe my sorrows though

Re: Following our ex's...................
Watched 3 quarters of the Melb. v GWS game and I don't think we will miss two of our ex's in that game.
Quality looks down for the game and the commentators saying it's fatigue. It will be interesting to see how we go if the media is going to bang on about the lack of rotations. Gut runners are going to come into their own.
Ward would be the better of the two but neither have been prominent.

Re: Following our ex's...................
Griffin really stinking it up at the G. Why has he been instructed to handball rather than kick? He's going 75/25 handball to kick ratio again as was the trend for a lot of last year.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

He can no longer break free to kick the ball like he used to.

Ward had 28 & couple of goals.. Without seeing the game it seems he was more than serviceable.

He linked up for a few but I didn't notice the hard ball gets which gave him the nickname cement head.

I was under the impression cement head was given to him because he's dull.

Re: Following our ex's...................
Ward is a good player. He'd play starting mid in any side.
Griffen looks a pretty average footballer these days. Watched him closely in the second quarter and he doesn't seem to have any pace or power anymore.
