This guy was in a class of his own. I hadn't seen anything like him since the old VFA days.

I'm standing in my spot watching the bounce of the ball when this dickhead arrives and try's to shoulder me out the way and then threatens to hit me when I didn't move. I didn't punch him him so much as push him hard with the heel of my hand and sat him on his arse. Then he stood up again as if nothing had happened and tried to annoy the guy standing on the other side of him by aggressively waving his flag right under his nose. The guy told him was a North supporter too and that he needed to calm down. Then his GF-who'd stood and watched everything-dragged him off.

I remember being at a final in the 80s which we won. The game itself was probably better remembered for an outstanding individual performance rather than the win itself. Year, who we played, what final and what was the achievement?
