Collingwood. Bob having an AA year at CHF. Rocca slung him after disposal and with no need and blew his knee out. Huge crowd. Was about mid year from memory, so my guess is Round 14, 2007. MCG.

well you did pick Collingwood, Murp and Rocca but other than that YES.

Mitch Hahn did his knee the same year. I remember he and Murph on crutches watching us lining up for finals tickets.

And ended Bob as a CHF. His year to that point was as good first half of the year as any forward in my short lifetime. He was by far and away the best CHF in the comp which is spectacular when you think he was still very light framed. I hope in 2017 or 2018 we play him forward.

Pretty sure it was 2006 and we got revenge on Collingwood in the EF.

Bobby resumed playing CHF when he returned and was terrific in 2008.

I was played on a wet MCG deck in the 90s.

We overcame a sizeable 3QT deficit to record a narrow win.

I'm going to have to use process of elimination, as it's not coming to top of mind. Assuming it wasn't finals and Etihad wasn't open (Hawks, Cats, Saints, Roy Boys, Carlton playing elsewhere), that leaves North, Essendon, Melbourne, Richmond & Collingwood.
