Re: Name A Game (Off Season Trivia Game)
Been pondering this one. Quite cryptic clues.
Without a heap of confidence, I'm going to guess the 1998 West Coast game in Perth where we kicked 8 goals to 0 in Q1, then WCE responded 8-0 in Q2 before eventually winning.
Pretty sure Alvey debuted. From memory we traded him to Essendon one year, but the paperwork was completed a couple of minutes late, so we waited another year before again trading him to Essendon.

That's the one.

They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Re: Name A Game (Off Season Trivia Game)
Little surprised I jagged that one.
I'm thinking of a game where we kicked 14 goals before half time but still lost by over 10 goals!!
Our alliterative full forward kicked 8 but was outscored by our opposition alliterative full forward, who kicked 9.

Was it the final against Geelong where Danny Del Re kicked a bag? 1992?

Well done, I just couldn't think of that one. Brownless kicked 9, thanks to a broken leg Foster received early in the year from Paul Dear trying to trip him up (bit like Fyfe on Koby but not as severe)

Ran the gamut of emotions that day. Justin Charles played a blinder.
Here's mine - with a new coach we pulled off a miraculous win in the nation's capital.

I remember us coming from a long way back to beat NM in Canberra on a really cold day around mid 2000s, guessing it must've been Rocket?

Well done we won by a point after Johnno kicked a goal off the ground. Our new Coach was Peter Rhode. Highlight for me was David Smorgan hugging a guy with a vb in hand

Sheesh BAD 2004 counts as mid 2000s don't it?
Okay let's keep this trainarollin':
This game was also an interstate victory and included 4 players in their first or 2nd game, including 2 17 year olds who would go on to play over 500 Dogs games between them (and a Fish Creek recruit).

I was commenting on Rohde ie in 2004 he wasn't a new coach.
