Hibberd has requested a trade, at 26 could be a good Boyd/Morris replacement option. Dees most likely though.

Mckenzie was never an attacking defender. He was All Australian because no forward could get hold of him. He had the least goals conceded that year from memory.

He's game against Collingwood 2 weeks ago was an absolute shocker. Dropped easy marks, couldn't hit a target 15 metres away under no pressure, looked completely cooked. I honestly don't think he can bounce back from that performance he was that bad.

A one on one contest spoiler isn't really what we need is it? It's not how we do defence anymore.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Agree we need a second ruck/forward type and Keep Boyd at home.
Campbell is better than both of them. We just need to get him on the park and Bevo to actually want too play Boyd as a forward.

The market for ruck men just got tighter today by 2 clubs.

Zack Clarke can stay in Western Australia potentially now at either club. I'd expect Hawthorn to go even harder at Vickery. There's something about him which feels like Hawthorn (or another good club) could turn him around. With the extra demand I hope Minno finds another club, assuming he is retired from our list.

Rumor that Richmond may look to cash in on Reidvolt (or whatever) - can't see it personally, but he would be an attractive proposition in the forward line.

Assuming we can deliver it into the forward line better than we have this year...He would be an amazing pickup. Could we afford him? And what would we have to give up?

If he cracks the shits every time his Richmond teammates miss him or overlook him, he will spend 100% game time with us in a full sulking/cracking the shits rage with our delivery and efficiency going forward. Or we'd turn him into a ruckman with the same result. Frankly, if any decent forward watched us at all this year in not sure we'd actually be their first choice, or second.

I'm a bit of a fan of Dylan Buckley. Has been largely on the outer at Carlton in the last couple of years but has some tricks that are in short supply at our club. The type of player that would benefit significantly from playing with more quality players alongside him I reckon.

Retaining Campbell just became a little more important

    Xav Richards anyone?
Potentially gettable, solid no 2 tallish forward.

Is he someone we have a pressing need for? I don't think his type is a priority for next season.

    Yes, definitely. Perfect fit.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Tend to agree. For a player of Buckley's size, we would need either real pace or high quality disposal skills to add to our team, don't really see much of that in Buckley.
