Re: Membership 2017 - Target 50,000
Just drove past the kennel and it looks suspiciously like they're setting up for the Family Day tomorrow.
Maybe I've had my head up my proverbial, but had I not driven by, I wouldn't have known it was on.
Is it just me, or has there been little to no publicity about it this year?

It's on today. I think you've had your head in the sand. On the website, has been emailed to members and plenty of air play on social media.

Have been and gone. Pretty disappointing set up compared to last year. My daughter was looking forward to the farm animals but no where to be seen.

Low key compared to last year , but I'd say they didn't want anything on the ground with the AFLW game .
Looks like Tom Campbell hurt his ankle .

8,000 ahead. Last year 40,000 in the end. With a good start, 50,000 is very much within reach.

Re: Membership 2017 - Target 50,000
My news last week was that the estimate of processed and unprocessed is closer to 36.5k. They are still processing so I assume that is a rolling figure.
If you were at 27k in March last year and reached 40k you'd have to think we are good for another 15k leading up to the cut off point this year.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Re: Membership 2017 - Target 50,000
It seems like we have slowed down just a little. I think we have added 1,200 in the last 3 weeks.
50K is still a big number from here. How great would it be to have over 40K by round 1?

Re: Membership 2017 - Target 50,000
I actually stood at the membership desk at the club this afternoon (doing the where on earth is my membership pack routine). After that was resolved, I asked what the tally was and the lady told me a bee's dick under 36,000.
Thing is, there's an enormous queue for Top Dogs and Player Sponsors. Completely full. So I'd expect our membership revenue is through the roof.

Re: Membership 2017 - Target 50,000
Last year we nudged 40,000. Let's call it 39,500 for argument's sake.
39,500 divided by 27,360 is 1.44. So we swelled to 1.44 times the tally at March 8th.
1.44 X 35,360 (tally as of Feb 28) = 50,918... So, we're technically bang on track for 50k..

Well, actually 39,500 divided by 27,360 is 1.44371345 which ends up being 51,049. How good does "over 51k" sound!

Re: Membership 2017 - Target 50,000
I always knew the 6x table numbers from working out how many balls were left in an innings from the overs left. And from goals in footy.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
