Re: Preseason Training 2017
Oh the only other point is that the queue to get a photo with THE PREMIERSHIP CUP was pretty negligible (especially between 4-5). I was near the front, but don't think it would have been more than 20-30min.

Re: Preseason Training 2017
Far out it was hot at the footy ground. I just got a shot with the cup and came home so I can really only day that the rehab group is bloody huge for this time of the year. Maybe it looked bigger because the girls rehab group was there too. Caleb Daniel and Easton Wood were in it umm. Roarke Smith. Lots more. Too many to remember after I'd just held our premiership cup.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I have a whole new respect for those guys you see in photos holding a cup in each hand. They must have arms made out of steel or really strong plastic or something.
Yeah. Another AFL cup would be sweet. No bugger that. I want another one. Last year was so good I want another premiership and I want it this year,

Just repaying the favour for all the people who kept me in the loop while I was in the UK last year. I wouldn't have made it through without Woof!

Not to mention their skills are already extremely solid, and most of them have already been playing for a while.
The best part was that they all joined in the signing and photos on the fence at the end, which was noticeably a thrill for both them and a number of supporters (especially younger girls). Very proud to be a Bulldog.
As for the men training, the only person I didn't sight was Tory Dickson, but I was struggling with so many people out there.
There was a large number of players who didn't do full training, including Libba, Stringer, Suckling, Matt Boyd, JJ, Morris, Cloke, both Smiths and more.
Training itself was pretty routine, and hard to read anything into it.
Roberts did an extra 10 minutes or so of high intensity running at the end.
Redpath said he is aiming to be back for round 10. He was saying that usually they aim for a 9-10 month return, but they're being slightly more cautious with him and doing 11 months because of his history.
Wallis looked great, not really training but looks in ripping shape. He and Dahlhaus are having a tan off. Confirmed that round 1 is the aim, but didn't say it with a heap of confidence!
One of the young guys was in a moon boot, not sure who.
And my favourite thing were a couple of tatts - JJ "it was all a dream" (not grand final related, but very apt) and Libba "when the going gets weird, the weird get going". Classic Libba.
We must not have been far away from each other JD, I was listening intently when Gia was talking to the girls. It was wonderful to see both squads mixed up in the drills.
Oh, and holding the cup was even better than I imagined.
