Thought it was our inside mids that turned the tide in our favour in the second quarter, and Jongy was one of the key contributors. BAD raised a valid point, that he tends to fade out of the game late. But I thought overall, he was a good player again for us.
Looking forward to him backing himself to kick a goal rather than dish off when close to goal. Presuming it is a confidence issue.

He was in tears in the rooms.
Our shocking run of injuries continues.

Was it 2006 that we had 5 ACL's?
Yeah he has been very good for us this year so sucks that this has happened. Just so frustrating also on the injury front. When will we ever have a full team to choose from.
"Footscray people are incredible people; so humble. I'm just so happy - ecstatic"
It was.
Plus another player had a broken leg that year IIRC
Terrible luck to Jongy just as he seemed to really be solidifying his spot at AFL level.
Sure he'll come back strong. Best of luck with his rehab.
