I hope he pulls up well. To say we need him is an understatement.

Re: Injury List - 2017 Season
When Stringer comes off that it will look pretty healthy.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Re: Injury List - 2017 Season
I hope Crameri and Stringer get a chance to play together as lynch pins of the forward line this season. We won't know how powerful we can be until that happens.

Yes we miss him in the team. Would have kicked some handy goals I reckon on Friday night.

It doesn't look as bad as I thought the injury list. Certainly the form of some players hasn't been the best and once they get it back will look very sharp.

Who do you reckon might get dropped? Maybe Cloke. Might want to persist with Jack a bit more.

Best it's looked in years. No excuse not to start winning more consistently then.

Have read elsewhere that Crameri is out for the season, according to Channel 7.
The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.

Re: Injury List - 2017 Season
Stewart Crameri to miss rest of 2017 season
Western Bulldogs forward Stewart Crameri will miss the remainder of the 2017 season with a hip injury.
Crameri had surgery earlier this week, which was considered successful, and the 28-year-old is expected to be available for the start of the 2018 pre-season.
“While the surgery to improve Stewart’s hip was quite extensive, we are confident that it will dramatically improve Stewart’s function and performance,” said Bulldogs Medical Services Manager Chris Bell.
“It’s disappointing for both the club and Stewart, but we will support Stewart and put a comprehensive rehabilitation program around him to give him every opportunity to have a full pre-season campaign heading into 2018.”
Crameri played the opening two games of the 2017 season before experiencing hip soreness.

Re: Injury List - 2017 Season
Big blow for Crameri, by the time 2018 rolls around he's basically not played footy for 2 years.

Re: Injury List - 2017 Season
I wonder if the hip was something that could have been looked at while he was suspended. But decided that not playing footy it would get better.

Re: Injury List - 2017 Season
Western Bulldogs captain Bob Murphy to have knee surgery
Western Bulldogs captain Bob Murphy will undergo more knee surgery while he also recovers from a hamstring strain that will sideline him for a month.
The veteran Bulldogs defender, who missed the Dogs' drought-breaking flag after having a knee reconstruction last year, will have further minor knee surgery while he recovers from a hamstring injury which scans on Monday confirmed as a "moderate stain".
It is understood the club will take the opportunity of Murphy being out with the hamstring injury to undergo minor clean-up surgery on the knee.
The knee complaint was not severe and the surgery could have otherwise waited until later in the year or post-season, were it not for the hamstring injury putting him on the sidelines for a month anyway.
The recovery from the knee surgery is not expected to keep him out for longer than the three to four weeks he will need to overcome the hamstring strain.
The timing of the injury is also slightly convenient in that the Bulldogs have their bye this week.
Murphy injured his hamstring in Saturday's win over the Saints at Etihad Stadium, finishing the game with ice on his knee and hamstring.
After tearing his anterior cruciate ligament early in the 2016 season, Murphy was forced to witness the Bulldogs' premiership triumph from the sidelines as he recovered from another knee reconstruction.
The popular running defender had seamlessly returned to the team this year proving he had not lost pace, agility or touch in his time out.
He played his 300th game in round four in the win over North Melbourne. Murphy and the club are yet to decide if he will play on next year. He turns 35 next week.
"To think that you claw your way back as a 34-year-old from an ACL injury and play at the top level. To play at this level again and then to be playing his 300th is a monumental effort," coach Luke Beveridge said in round three ahead of Murphy's 300th game.

The bye, Sydney, Melbourne and North. If there is ever a good time it was at the end of the match against the Saints.
