The AFL players rate their top 50
There are 15 more players to be named (top 15) and still not a single Bulldog in the list. I'd be shocked if Bontempelli doesn't make it, but it seems plausabile a few of our other players such as JJ, Boyd M, Dahl aren't going to rate a mention.
Are we being underrated? Or are we just such a well-rounded, non-positional side that individuals are thought of by us highly because of the sum of our parts?

Re: The AFL players rate their top 50
Does the atypical AFL player even watch footy?
We have an even list, but when Essendon have 4 in the 16-50 zone and we have none it doesn't seem right.... But winning a flag seriously decreases my care factor with these lists anyway.

Yep they are all jealous

Re: The AFL players rate their top 50
Considering most AFL boast that they don't watch football at all, then this list carries very little weight.

I think they are going on perception and reputation.

Re: The AFL players rate their top 50
I thought either Dahl or Libba might be in the top 50. JJ even.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

I'd certainly have any of those 3 over Zorko, Cripps, Lewis and quite a few others

Up to number 10 and still no dogs players, so it must be Bonti and nobody else. How on earth did we win a flag with such an ordinary list?

And Hurley over Stringer lolz
or am I just being 1eyedog?
Will Bont be number 2 or 3? Danger, Fyfe, Bont or 4 behind Ablett?

Re: The AFL players rate their top 50
The Bont has come in number 5, ahead of Pendlebury 6, Josh Kennedy (Swans) 7 and Ablett 8. Selwood is 4 with the top 3 still to be revealed (Danger, Fyfe and Buddy).

Re: The AFL players rate their top 50
1 player in the top 50.
I know these things don't matter - but seems ridiculous that ALL of Morris, Libba Dahlhaus, Macrae, Stringer, Wood and Johannisen missed. Would have thought at least a couple make it in.

Let the AFL players continue to under rate us. It's good for business.
