he still handballs to players feet and sprays shots.too often. Got some important touches at the end though.

Really impressive tackling in their fotward line in the middle of the last quarter by the saints.

Patton was a spectator. Lobb did little. Cameron was just fair. It was good to see them crushed in the last 40 minutes. Gresham is a fine player. Woild love to see him in our colours.

Tim Taranto has settled into senior football very well. I thought he was a very good footballer in the TAC last season but I was a little surprised he went as early as he did in the draft. Games like that though underline they've grabbed another beauty.

Yes - I kept an eye on him after you mentioned him very early in the piece. Rose very sharply and looks like another versatile, play anywhere mid, which they have a glut of.

As much as I have no love for St Kilda after they tormented us during our last successful era, I've got a good mate who supports them and after winning a flag, I'd like him to feel that joy at some point in the future. Last night was a strong step in the right direction for the Saints - it'll be interesting to see whether they build on this.

Saints have some natural forwards that converted when it mattered last night; Billings, Membrey, Gresham for example.

Compare that with our set up where you have Jong, Dunkley & Smith trying to get on the end of the work up field. We need to invest in some natural goal kicking talent.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Like Dale and Hamilton? I think we have some of these players but they aren't quite there yet (and may never be).

I don't think Hamilton will make it, and Dale seems like a mid that can finish rather than a genuine forward threat.

I'm bullish on Greene, and think Lipinski will prove himself as a quality mid that can pinch hit forward and cause problems for the opposition defence.

The fact is Dickson is our best and most efficient forward threat, the type that will convert from limited opportunities and just knows when and where to move to give himself a chance.

I'd look at adding at least another genuine forward via this year's draft. They can be picked up late with Essendon's Fantasia a good example (and our own Fergus Greene too).

North up 10 goals in the first quarter. Funny that we just had a thread that conceded the top 2 spots to Adelaide and GWS and then we get these upsets (job not done yet though) immediately

Call in the bookmakers in Tassie .
Staggering score . Crows just not at the races, and getting beaten at their own game

Roos aren't this good and Crows won't play this badly for 4 quarters. Can see it turning into a scrap with the Roos winning by a few goals.

Doing all the can to get the Crows back in it. Dumb dumb dumb from Scott Thompson to give a free away long after the goal was kicked.
