I believe New Zealand and China are the two countries now who have had AFL games playing for premiership points. The UK has had games played there but just exhibition games.

We're a game off top spot - this year is officially anybody's year.

And a game or percentage out of the 8.

Yep, crazy season. We just need to keep our powder dry and bank enough wins to get a good position in the finals and hopefully have a fit and healthy squad ready to go.

There are no super teams this year - they all have their faults and weaknesses.

Only one team in the 8 is missing their best ruck and defender, 2 best forwards and AA caliber flanker (who also happens to be captain). If we can somehow get the cavalry back and still be in position, things may just fall in to place.

We must win the next 2 weeks.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

What's really, really shitty is that with remotely decent goal kicking, and so winning against gws & wce, that we'd actually be top of the ladder, Adelaide one game behind and the rest of the pack 2 games behind and huge momentum as a club/team. Despite the injury curse, doubling down on us. And we can't blame anyone else but ourselves for not being in that strong position.

What would be shattering is if we can't win the next two and head into the bye outside the 8. So let's hope that doesn't happen.

That is true, but we also could just have easily lost against Norf and Richmond and currently be sitting 3-5 in about 12th spot.

Collingwood should have won this. GWS get away with another one.

    Tin arses of the comp.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Cam McCarthy of Freo is THE slowest player in the league at moving the ball on and advancing play. He's as slow as treacle by mind and has awful peripheral vision. He must be frustrating to play with.

Oh my, that's beyond heart breaking... Mega, acute, harmful, heart breaking stuff by Richmond. Lordy, that's going to be hard to get over for players and fans.

Fantastic clearance by Neale but how can you not defend 21 seconds? How on earth did Mundy have space in front of him on the lead?
