Bailey was really good today. His poise was excellent.

Overall much happier with this performance from the boys. Defence was up all over the ground.

Home from the game. Good to bank the points in a game that held much the same rhythm as our other wins so far this year. No dizzying heights and some really frustrating moments. Could have felt very similar to our losses too, had St Kilda not butchered the footy. A positive outing nonetheless.

Dale's efforts were really good. Great signs from him, running with the footy and getting to plenty of contests.

Finally a Saint match where Steven didn't destroy us. Credit to Hunter. Did a fantastic job on him.

As others mentioned Dale was fantastic.

Complete game from Stringer. Ironic he was nailing set shots today but missing snaps he normally gobbles up.

Was pleased for Biggs. We are a much better side with him playing well. Didn't make an error all day.

Adams was really good. We cant afford to lose him.

We Looked slow and second to contest up to middle of second quarter. Then we flicked the switch and we overwhelmed them with our handball game

Keep missing those set shots in front of goal-
First half misses : bonts, stringer , Jong
Got to nail those or opposition teams will kills us on the rebound . Our goal kicking I have no confidence when we kick it just makes me utterly nervous

Caleb daniel played good 4 quarters and from my observation was he was bog. The spoil on Carlisle was a delight and he almost took a leading mark at half forward.

Jong liked his hip and shoulder and he needs to show more aggression when marking in packs. Would love to see him start Monster guys by out marking them would add an another dimension to his game

Adams was very good today and took some telling marks in the back . The back six were superb

We smashed them with our hand ball game and retained possession .

Liked bailey dale game and his running bounced in the 3rd quarter was exhilarating to watch. He has poise and skill we have a good one here.

We should have won by a bigger margin and games like these are opportunities to win by big margins to help our percentage

We had two instances in the last where we should have goaled but didn't and they did on the rebound. All things considered it should have been a 10-12 goal win such was our better play over theirs.

I'm surprised the umpire didn't ping him for over the shoulder.
I think he was one of the main instigators for us getting on top of the opposition.

Some of Caleb Daniel's touchs are getting as influential as the Bont's touchs with that kick that slices the zone apart and finds a forward.

In the match highlights, 3rd quarter look at the goal Dale and Daniel set up. Probably my favourite play of the day.

Re: Game Day Round 10, 2017 - Western Bulldogs V St. Kilda

    Boring but pleasing game.

Just a few weeks ago I watched Dale tear apart Richmonds VFL side and was looking forward to the day he would replicate that at AFL level. Yesterday he did, everytime he got the ball there you new he was going to use it well. Has excellent poise and balance, we will be a completely different side when he Daniel and Mclean are regulars. All use the ball exceptionally well.

Bont is clearly carrying something. Last week he must have played half the game at full forward and yesterday if he wasn't there he was playing off the wing. Avoided the centre bounces the whole match. Still doesn't excuse his woeful finishing n front of goal, that ridiculous checkside kick on the run when he had 3 players in better positions is the worst error of judgement of his career. Glad it came in a comfortable win.

Stringer loves playing the Saints, it's where he does his best work. Nice to see him work hard and lead and for us to honour him. He is the ultimate leading forward, powerful and quick and if the ball hits the ground Stringer on the move is one of the most dangerous players in the league.

Really pleased with our defence again. Easton Wood continues a great return to form, Biggs had his best game of the season, and Adams continues to star.
I should leave it alone but you're not right

    Watching Bevo's presser again:

Media Q: Was the plan all along for Jordan to play?
Bevo A: Which Jordan is that?
