They’re something else altogether. Forgetting they are paying about $800,000 a year out of their salary cap to former players. Insane.

Pies were super.
Port might get a bit shaky after this.
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.

That Farrell dropped mark where Sidebottom just didn't give up on it and pressured from a losing position to halve it was the moment for me.
Think he did the deliberate too.

100% matchwinning effort by Sidebottom.

How's his left foot?
I like he is naturally bald like me.

He is a bloody good player. Enjoy watching him. Clever, deft touches, pure class. Seems like a nice bloke too. Like all the really good clearance players he seems to have more time and create space around him.

I really love that they use the corridor and just push it forward however they can. Helter skelter footy whereas when we tried to overtake them a couple of weeks ago we still propped and waited for a “good” option. Mind you we have no Jamie Elliott equivalent do we. You just knew he would slot that one.

Its crazy that Collingwood have so many players who can cleanly pickup the ball, and just know how to execute in the moment.
Is it they have a good core group , ,(pendles, sidebottom, daicos even Hill and Degoey) that the others feed off ? Or is it possible to train for clean possession?

Yeah I know they are awesome, but all this love for the filth is making me sick.
They are 0-2 in close matches in September under McCrae. May that trend continue in 2023.

I think their only vulnerability is key forwards.
More of an In Bruges guy?

Yep. You still have to get it done when it matters and it is a different ball game in September. However, from what I have seen they are a much better team this year compared to last year. In saying that, I would love nothing better than to see them go out in straight sets.
Against the better teams in the comp, how have they gone this year?
Lions and Demons have beaten them. They have then won six by less than 15 points.
Tigers by 14.
Saints by 6.
Essendon by 13.
Crows by 1.
Crows by 2.
Dogs by 12.
Port by 2.
For a team that is sitting two games clear on top of the ladder, they still look gettable on the right day.

Ashcroft confirmed ACL. That is a big blow to the Lions.

I swear his head is too big and caused knee instability.
Tough blow for the kid though.

Agree Sedat I hated them in the 1960's and I still hate them. Their supporters especially at Victoria Park were violent. I was king hit one Saturday afternoon out there so I will always hate them with a passion.
