I think Buku has earnt his position. Also think Bramble has earnt his spot ahead of Duryea .
For me oblivious outs are Gallegher and VDM. Some good players are going to miss.
In Macrae and Dale ?

Well he was better than when I wrote this . depending on match ups he plays as does Coffield. Chol was terrible, smashed him apart from a junk time goal.

I think we were able to get the ball in quicker in the second half. Makes a huge difference. Whether it was hawks dropping off or Bont lifting im not sure.

I’ve been out all afternoon/night and haven’t scrolled up but that looks like an absolutely biblical arse kicking in the second half.

I think we will play Lobb as the extra tall is also defensive cover and not play JOD round 1

Wizard or Colonel?
Happy with the Colonel but Watson instead VDM or McNeil would have been good too.

Didn't the accurate kicking for goals in the 2nd half turn a frustrating game around?

Solid win in the end.
I was out in Footscray tonight at the Station Hotel with my family for my birthday which is actually on Monday and kept track of it on my phone.
Was concerned early on with the poor kicking at goal but looks like the 2nd half performance was really good by improving the accuracy ending with a score 17.17.
Hard to tell of course if the Hawks were going 100% or not and they have a number of players out but you can only play who you play and it gives us confidence going into season 2024.

Kicking straight. Massive difference.
Great turnaround. Bad kicking equals bad football which costs you so great that we changed that.

Charlie Clarke would be better and we have him.

This was not necessarily our best team who played this evening but I'd like to hear peoples thoughts on taking the following players into the round one match against Melbourne?
Khamis
Coffield
Bramble
Coffield
Daniel
Vandermeer
