Said this for awhile. We over rate players that aren't up to it. Why we traded for Harmes, I will never know, and CHB is an issue. I am sorry but height is everything and Khamis is 8 com too short - he is ok as a third tall.

Many more holes. Lobb was useless today.

We had them outnumbered. A goal there and it could be a different result. Our coach makes stupid selections and our LIST MANAGEMENT refuses to select natural forwards in the draft. It cost us today and it cost us the Geelong game.

We are angry and have every right to be.
Agree with this. Garcia and VDM are not small forwards and not smart footballers. It is the reason we need to throw in Clarke as our crumbing forward.

Garcia is a smart footballer. he should be in the midfield where he has absolutely killed it in the VFL. VDM is a dumb footballer especially forward. He is better behind the ball. He should be in the VFL as a back pocket or delisted.

We created heaps of chances in the 3rd quarter. If we kicked 7.3 instead of 3.7, then we go in at three quarter time 4 goals, with reward for our dominance. That's how Essendon beat us, and how we beat the Saints. It's simple, but you've just gotta kick your set shots.

I actually thought we played well for large parts of the game. Freo could/should have been 5-1 going in to tonight. They've had a strong start to the year.

Our forward structure is still dogsh*t. Burgoyne(?) on comms made the point that all our talls go for the mark. We don't try to block and give one guy the jump at it. It often means that we spoil each other, or have all defenders involved in the contest to spoil as well. Very frustrating.

Yep Garcia is clever, good awareness and uses his body well. Thought he played well and has since he returned but like you, I want him as a mid.

First they flogged us Hannan. Then Harmes. Gave us nothing for Hunter (& Schache). Stop taking their calls.

I have been a vocal critic of the decision to recruit Harmes, and yet again he shows that he is EXACTLY what we knew we were getting. He's been washed since 2021.

I wonder if somebody will make the same mistake with Caleb and Macrae...

Lobb has been a huge disappointment.

Probably played 3-4 good games for us.

Our list on talent isn't that overrated I don't think.

Its not like Geelong and Collingwood are oozing with stars. They just play smart, relenting footy. They're intense.

We've got enough talent. But we've got stuff all players willing to crack in, willing to perform their role and stay disciplined.

Why we have so many types like that is the question. Is it coaching or crap recruiting? Maybe both.

Can't help but wonder what a Chris Scott type would get out of this list.
