Many more holes. Lobb was useless today.
ATM Khamis can’t defend. Can’t be 3rd tall if you can’t defend

Khamis deficiency is not just height. He has zero positional awareness and can't defend 1:1. He was embrassing tonight. There ability to get soft goals from contested marks from no name forwards was a massive factor in the game.

I am frustrated once again we couldn't get the job done in this one and in the Cats game a few weeks in Gather Round.

Had our chances tonight in that 3rd quarter but per usual missed them. Bont missing that goal was really bad.

We are 3-4 now and must cash in the next 2 weeks against struggling sides in the Hawks and Tigers before we have the tough test against the Giants.

If we don't will be in big strife for this season 2024.

Why we have so many types like that is the question. Is it coaching or crap recruiting? Maybe both.

Can't help but wonder what a Chris Scott type would get out of this list.
Chris Scott would win a flag with our group. I'm convinced after watching today. Danger gets injured. They were without the best defender in the league. They are playing a team that has how first round picks?

    Cripps
    Walsh
    Weitering
    McKay
    Curnow

They have no names everywhere and high draft picks and just get the job done.

I hate saying this. But Chris Scott is a genius.

Disappointment? Many people except our list management saw disappointment coming.

Agree Freo are good and some of the criticism is unwarranted but really a number of those misses should be nailed. I love our captain but < 10 metres game in the balance. No you just can?t miss.

He has always been what he is, which is basically an inferior 2nd ruck/forward version of English. We knew this and yet we still traded for him, knowing we had Darcy and Croft coming as F/S.

Watch Ginnivan, Newcombe and Meek tear us apart in the midfield next week.

He was so poor tonight - I will say our midfield didn't do our defenders any favours with getting torched at stoppages all night.

I disagree our list management is terrible as well.

Chris Scott is many things but a genius he ain’t. I get he is a very good coach but they do tend to get things dished up to them on a silver platter. Maybe he would do better with our list but it is a moot point.

I actually was happy with Hannan. I really loved that VFL GF team so nostalgia made it feel nice. Oh. Lets not forget Baker.

We probably didn't expect Darcy to be this good this early. We've been on the same page with this but we would have been better getting Grundy and making Tim play forward/second ruck.

But it does make you wonder why we haven't actually put Naughton back. Jones is almost superhuman but FFS get the guy some help.

We're really caught between a rock and a hard place with this list now. Do we back Bevo in to rebuild/refresh with instruction to really shake up the list, or do we go for a new coach who probably then doesn't make any significant list changes?

I'm not sure what the answer is but the club needs to get it right otherwise we're royally screwed with Tasmania fast approaching.
