Re: WOOF Player Awards - RD 7 vs Fremantle 2024
When every single one of their starting midfielders is in the votes and not one of ours is, you need a miracle to win. On reflection, with the midfield dominance they had and how well their best players played, it is unbelivable that we were actually in a position to steal it. It would have been highway robbery.

If anyone at any time feels up for making Liam Jones make sense to me I’m all ears.

You're not wrong, but:
- We moved the ball really well.
- We defended really well.
Can't do much about goals from the stop if you're a defender...I thought the backs busted their butts - just needed a bit more help from one another when the footy was coming in. Freo manipulated matchups, got Khamis to the last line and whilst he halved it, he couldn't kill it and it cost us goals on the deck.
It clearly wasn't 'our night' but the players stuck at it. I get this is a frustrating team (and has been for a while) and I feel it as well, but I don't get how the loss on the weekend is being compared to so many others...
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.
