Just received this snap of Pelchen leaving the trade table
There's so many different reasons this could've occured it's difficult to know what the driver was. Perhaps the Bulldogs were genuinely open to a trade with Hawthorn, but with the way Pelican had conducted himself to that point, felt there was no way there'd be enough time left to get the trade across the line if he were involved. So we said that to Hawthorn and they agreed.
Western Bulldogs: We exist to win premierships
Wasn't Pelican also removed from the Burgoyne negotiations last year, which resulted in mediation settling the deal?
Dogs withdraw from Hill negotiations.

A list manager no one wants to trade with -- how does the bloke stay in a job?
No good having a player who doesn't want to be there.
Pity Hawthorn are so bad to deal with.
What hasn't changed - don't waste time dealing with Carlton or Hawthorn
Cannot believe how Scott Clayton has played the competition like fools this trade period. At least the dogs had a good week!
"Loves a scrap....oh yeah & he's a pretty handy footballer as well"
I know it might sound like I'm cutting off my nose to spite my face, but I'd rather keep Hill & have him play for Williamstown all year, than trade with Hawthorn. I might think differently in the cold light of day, but right now, I'm over them & wish our club decides from here on in to never get involved in any discussion with them in the future!

If Hills situation hasnt changed in 12 months, perhaps he will be off to GWS?
