    Re: Ekers

I know he's probably not technically an eker and is a premiership player, BUT - has a 23 year old with an injury history and just 30 games to his name in his fifth year on a list ever signed a four year deal before?

Bravo Will Langford, your agent is a genius!

The last few rounds are normally kind to the eker movement, with coaches trying to fatten up their trade value. Tayte Pears, come on down.

    Kane Lucas!

Edit: he didn't actually make the final 22, but I find it incredible he was even in the 25. Eke on and prosper!

    Re: Ekers

My favourite Eker currently going around is Ricky Petterd. Small, slow, doesn't like a contest much and averages less than a goal a game as a forward/mid yet has somehow survived for 84 mediocre games over 9 seasons. That's some legendary eking in my book.

    Re: Ekers

If Pettard gets traded to another club this year that just about makes him king eker.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Eker legend Ricky Petterd announces his retirement. A sad day for Ekers everywhere.

Surely Brisbane would have wanted any AFL player of any standing to cover the next exodus. It's not too late Ricky, reverse the decision!!

    Re: Ekers

I love Ekers who do SFA all year, but just do enough in the last couple of rounds to hang on to a list.

    Classic Eking move.

This years late season Eker tease I reckon has been Shaun McKernan.

Another Eker bites the dust - David Ellard to retire at the tender age of 26 after his 63rd game in a career spanning 8 seasons.

Don't you love this. According to this 'spin' I've never sacked, been pushed out or quit. I just retired from every job in my own terms...

I never got dumped either. I just retired from the relationship a millisecond before being dumped.
