Was there any history between these two?
The only thing i remember was a game at the MCG (could have been Liam Picken's first game) when Petrie kicked 5 in the first qtr on Brian.
Still, hardly a reason to choke a guy...

You can twist it any way you want but it wasn't a good look for the game.

To me, from the vision, it doesn't look as though Lake chokes Petrie. He grabs him by the back of the neck and briefly applies pressure to the collarbone. When I watched it the first time through I actually thought it was the responsible way to proceed, given that he could have easily thrown punches at Petrie.
'And the Western suburbs erupt!'
Petrie keeps kicking bags of goals on him. I kept having nightmares where Petrie is kicking goals from everywhere. He taking huge contested marks against Lake and out sprints him on the lead. Marking the ball with a smug smile on his face as Lake flailed behind him. Petrie would go back and slot his 5th or 6th for the quarter.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.
