Thanks for all your work Redders. We all really appreciate, I know I do greatly.

Don't know about Rance as top 4, but others about right.

Rance is a superstar. If Richmond didn't have him, they get thumped by more every week.

But is he the 4th best player in the AFL?

Article late last year, two coaches would pick him first if they were building a team from scratch. He is that good.

Very hard exercise to pick players ahead of others - but I have no problem with Rance at No.4. In terms of one player to complete our list - he is the first player I'd take from any other club to help us win the flag.

He's a talented footballer but gets distracted from his task far too easily (arguing with people in the crowd?) I wouldn't have him within a million miles of the Whitten oval or our playing group. He's a long way from the #4 player in the competition from my perspective.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I'm a big fan of Rance as well, though was chatting to a Richmond fan the other night who was adamant he turns it over by foot a bit too much.

Re: Veteran Dogs named in Mike Sheahan's Top 50
Rance - good player, but not in my top 4. If he was top 4, Richmond would've played finals as the best players lift their sides to higher heights, something he's been incapable of (and incapable of with a talented midfield of Cotchin, Deledio and Martin).

Rance at #4!!??
Pfffttt.
The amount of times the ball comes down into the Rich. D50 per game it's no wonder Rance gets high contested marking %'s.
Paper thin pressure from their Spuddy midfield only serves to pump up his tyres in regards to spoils per game.

Re: Veteran Dogs named in Mike Sheahan's Top 50
Rance is good but I don't even think he is the best backman in the league.

Re: Veteran Dogs named in Mike Sheahan's Top 50
Rance is still a terrible disposer of the ball. I'd have him 10-15.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.
