Maybe we both read the last page that said 44,500.

They are essentially one and the same.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Yep. To paraphrase what a Buddhist monk once said to me when we were talking about the impact of social media and the annoyance/stress people seem to get with it as a result... If you keep head butting a brick wall, you can't keep blaming the brick wall for the pain.
Ergo, if BF & Facebook is full of shit and reading annoys people, maybe deactivate your account or stop footy feeds and just live on WOOF in bulldog nirvana. But I don't get the attraction of Facebook in the first place though.

Me either. They are just idiots saying stupid things.
I should probably stop posting on them.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

The club need to push hard that if you want good finals tickets, you need to be a member. God forbid we got an Etihad home final, you won't get into the final at all. Then God forbid even more we get to the GF, you should get on the social club waiting list immediately ($20). We need another angle to push towards 50,000 (which may a bridge to far, but another different push will help).

Would we play a Bulldogs v Giants final at Etihad?

You could throw as many personal incentives at people as you can think of, but many don't see it as enough. I've had numerous barneys on FB with non-members who all trot out excuses - my money is better spent on other things etc, I even had one who refuses to sign up as the club didn't do enough to combat scalpers during GF week.
We need to create a culture where signing up as a member is like joining a family/religion/cult. It's not 'what can the Bulldogs do for me' rather 'what can I do for the Bulldogs'. In the future, big stadiums may actually become obsolete with the advent of VR, so simply marketing memberships based on attending games needs to be re-thought.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.
