Yeah, we played cricket against Tony's team in juniors and there was something about him that set him apart. I've never been able to work out what it was. He was a really good player but it was more than just that, it was like he controlled the tempo of the game and knew what was about to happen.
The batsman would play a shot through square leg and you'd think "here's runs" but he'd be there fielding the ball when you'd seen him two balls before at second slip taking the ball from the keeper and throwing it back to the bowler.
