Former Western Bulldog assistant coach Brett Montgomery could emerge as a candidate for Nathan Buckley’s staff.
Montgomery, who left the Bulldogs on the eve of their stunning finals campaign last year, has coached at Melbourne Grammar this year.
He is highly regarded for his match-day tactics and team defence structures and is keen to rejoin the AFL.

Excellent move by the Pies, Monty would be a good addition for them
I talked to him a few times in his final season with us and he certainly has a bit of intensity about him

Not even Carlton will take Gryphone off GWS. Looks like he's at GWS next year.
