Re: Game Day Festival of Footy (Round 13-18)
If we believe we are close to a premiership (i do) them we don't pass up players because they are 30

Keep Lloyd then. Kicked 38 last year, and Breust kicked 34. This year is an odd year, with injuries, The Hub etc.

Breust has always been better than Sam Lloyd

Breust is one of those leaders on field. That alone is worth it’s weight in gold. It’s a no brainer for mine. If he’s getable, then 100% go get him.
I will never see #16 the same!!

Age certainly wasn't a consideration in re-signing Wood for 2 years
I'm not sure Breust is someone we can easily get anyway but his experience, his ability to kick a goal and just as importantly his tackling efforts as a small forward are still impressive.
If you consider the likely departures in terms of experience that we will lose at the end of the year then adding an experienced player could be worth considering and it could be a bonus to have someone like Breust around (as Comrade has pointed out) for the likes of Weightman, Garcia and Cavarra.
Bevo will know if he would fit into our forward line mix
I tend to agree that many are too focused on age

Bloods culture >>>>>> Bombers culture.
Might the last game in a lost season, but the Swans are having a red hot crack. Good on them.
The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.

Looks like the Swans are shot. Gave it a great crack, though.

They have made some silly decisions along the way.
