He was highly rated by a few on here prior to the draft.

Well now I'm hoping they're not winless when we play them.

Not once the bombers development team get hold of him .. injuries a plenty, play in wrong position, teach him a terrible game plan.

I think Hird was the last player they developed that was a genuine champion and that’s a few years ago now.

Hmm
The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.

A lot of bomber fans replied with no forward line , haven?t recruited, even to the point of being worse than last year.
I did laugh though, as destroying Windy hill won?t change anything they work out of Tullamarine nowadays.
The Bowls Club will repel their angry advance.

At the way the bombers are going . Apparently looking to the future and not the now , getting Goldstein I think some of the bowls players might get on the list a few would be around his age.

Re: Essendon
From Eddie McGuire re Essendon deal on the back of Carlton, Dons, Aints wanting more G games.
"The Bombers have got a favoured nations contract at Marvel because they were the anchor tenant.
"Do you know in the shops down there (at Marvel Stadium) if you buy a Geelong jumper, Essendon get a cut of it? The Bombers get a cut of the food and beverage and just about everything that's going on there.

Good for us if they move as we can negotiate a better deal as we have been screwed over by the current deal.

Fingers crossed, they end this year. Either that or the AFL will give the Dons an even sweeter deal to ensure they stay at least part of the time.
It's interesting, their decline does kind of marry up to Docklands tenancy.

What ever happens with Essendon you can be sure it won't give any incentive for them to improve our deal.

We have no leverage, so will have to take what we can get and perhaps suck up a poorer deal in lieu of the AFL making less money from the venue.
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.
